Diabolic Clown History

My interest in dogs started at the end of 1999 when my partner Montse gave me Lluna as a present, a little black and white English Cocker Spaniel. From then on and after having her first litter I realized that dogs and I were to have a lot in common. I bought three more little female dogs, and this time I already looked for good genetic background.In September 2001 my dogs attended the first beauty exposition and they got good results. Then we started to buy good Cockers, both in genetics and beauty.

On the purpose of knowing dogs better, Montse and I considered to take up another breed, in this case a pet breed. After analyzing the pros and cons of many breeds, we fell in love with one in particular: the Coton de Tulear, an unknown breed in Catalonia and Spain but with a lot of good breeders in France. We got in touch with breeders who had signed the Quality Papers and we bought several Cotons. One year later the best Coton breeders in France and in the world, Diabolo Swing of Natalie Brabant, gave up breeding and they offered their dogs to us, eleven dogs, the result of seventeen years of hard and accurate work. Nowadays, our breeding line in Cotons is mainly based on the Diabolo Swing dogs.

Since we acquired so many and so good dogs, Cotons and Cockers, I gave up my job as a businessman in the restaurant industry to devote myself exclusively to dogs. It was also necessary to build good facilities so that the Diabolic Clown dogs could stay in the best possible condition. They were finished at the end of 2003 and they contain 5 yards for the Cockers and 3 terraces for the Cotons, besides the interior facilities.

The future

The main aim for the future is the breeding of dogs with good genetic background and with the highest level of beauty. That is why our breeders are free from genetic faults and have taken NDA tests. They have also been socialized so that they show no aggressive sign. All pups are guaranteed and have absolute health guarantee.

We are members from the Spaniel Club in Spain, France and the United Kingdom, members from the Coton Club in France and we have signed the Quality Papers. We are also members of the Cinophile Union of Catalonia.
